A rediscovered pleasure today... playing hopscotch. I have to admit I found drawing with chalk on concrete very therapeutic in a strange sort of way!
Seeing these rain droplets hung like pearls in a cobweb this morning made me think how beautiful nature really is.
Such a pretty little chicken and so content just to peck away in the grass, I couldn't resist taking her photo!
These bright little jewels always give colour to my garden at this time of year, I've always known them as 'chinese lanterns' and I love their autumnal glow.
Bettys Tea Room, what can I say? They serve the best afternoon tea and their cinnamon toast is particular a favourite of mine. If we lived closer to one I think I would want to visit its stylish surroundings alot! Have a good weekend.
My diary tells me that today is the first day of autumn, I feel ready for the change of season and the new colours that nature will bring.
Brimham Rocks - a fantastic place to visit and I loved this old sign.
