I have no idea what these flowers are, but I spotted them in a hanging basket while out and about at the weekend - a bright burst of late summer colour.

A beautiful day at the Broads today with our girls, a boat trip and delicious lunch - if only every friday could be like this. Have a good weekend.

With two daughters now there's no excuse for not having something pretty around the house to photograph!

Unlike last year we have had a bumper crop of plums on our tree this summer - so today was a busy day for me and my daughter with 'harvesting' and cooking.

How can it be that she is nearly ready to move onto her next stage, stop growing so fast...!
