Trust my Mum to take a simple rose and ornamental cabbage and create a beautiful arrangement!

The hedgerows are full of berries, the sign of a harsh winter to come? I hope not; cold weather really  isn't my favourite...

At this time of year I have a fondness for ornamental cabbages in the garden, don't ask me why but I think they're just beautiful!

A bonfire party in our garden, was it for the children or more for the adults - I'm not so sure?!
