An exciting day here in Norfolk as the Olympic torch relay passed through. I watched it with my daughters school, such enthusiasm from the children - their 'moment to shine'.

A final cake blog for a while. Rather proud of my efforts for my daughters 5th birthday party at the weekend, a great time was had at the fancy dress tea party. I thoroughly enjoyed all the preparations, party planning would make an ideal career, maybe one day!

My gorgeous eldest daughter is 5 today.  My friend and companion, I blinked and she got all grown up.

A birthday wish for my mum, who is always there for me. And I honestly don't know what I would do without her. x

This beautiful old rose comes from a plant in my mums garden, which originates from my grandmothers garden. I only wish the scent could be transmitted over my blog, it's heavenly!

With a busy week ahead, just thinking about it makes me feel like one of these!
