Shrove Tuesday and time for pancakes; we often have them for breakfast at weekends but I must admit to enjoying them filled with vanilla ice cream as a tea time treat!

I think tulips are rapidly turning into one of my favourite flowers. These are shop bought, but I can't wait until they start to appear in the garden.

This golden crocus opened up from tight bud today in the lovely sunshine, lets hope for more to come over the weekend...

These little violet plants have a long history - they originated from my Great Grandad's allotment, and their roots have been divided and transplanted into the gardens of our family by the generations since. Seeing them in my garden every spring makes me smile.

Bows are everywhere and seem to be the look of the moment and I for one love them, just my kind of thing!

Each time I open my wardrobe I hear the clatter of beads, gems and jewels hanging on the back of the door as my necklaces 'clunk' together. I love that sound and just can't resist adding to my collection!
