Another home baking attempt - this time raspberry cheesecake... went down well I am pleased to say!

I wish I could say these roses were gathered from my own garden or found on a stall at the gate of a rambling country cottage, but alas they are supermarket bought but still delicate and pretty and give me pleasure to look at them.

With the constant juggling that seem to fill my days at the moment, I consider myself to have had a minor triumph today - I made cupcakes with my 4 year old daughter for the first time since having her sister 4 months ago. It may seem like a small thing, but add to it a lovely visit from my good friend aswell and I feel I can go to bed happy. Have a good weekend.
