Chocolate cake made at the weekend - delicious! 

What better way to get ready for valentines day...? Heart shaped marshmallows! 

Home baked bread at the weekend, curtesy of my husband - a new hobby for him that I hope he continues! 

I miss the Christmas holidays and waking up to this every morning.. although my waistline probably doesn't!

The sweetest little peas grown by my eldest daughter for her Rainbow group project, she was proud to harvest her crops! Have a good weekend. 

So, I have finally embraced autumn and what better way to do it than an afternoon spent in an orchard apple picking.

I do not have the stomach to eat much chilli. Despite their fiery heat, these glossy red pods look very tempting.

With a busy week ahead, just thinking about it makes me feel like one of these!

Back to blogging after a short break and still waiting for summer to arrive. It's not the same enjoying strawberries inside with the heating switched on!

Monday has been as they say, 'one of those days', so to relax with this late on in the afternoon was heavenly.

For some it may be chocolate, others a slice of cake. For me, my comfort food is a bowl of rice crispies, and today I was in need...

We all love pancakes in our home, our daughters have a particular liking for them, so for us they are an all year round treat and today was the perfect excuse.  Also encouraged by my husband, how lucky was I to get this shot, he was a very patient flipper!!!

It was warm enough (almost) to have an ice cream at the seaside yesterday, the first of many this year -hopefully next time I won't have to wear gloves though!

Afternoon tea at our favourite tea room in Burnham Market, a nice end to a lovely half term holiday week. I don't want school to start again on Monday! Have a good weekend.
