A milestone day today, our baby girl started pre-school. She was excited, I was emotional, and we do it all again tomorrow!

One of my favourite late summer flowers; and a quiet moment to appreciate their blossom after a busy day...

I love our lazy sunday family breakfasts, homemade pancakes are always a favourite. It would be nice if we could start the day like this all the time, but then I guess they wouldn't be so special.

I know it's a random shot, but it reminds me of summer and the funfair and I like it! Hope the sun continues to shine for the weekend, enjoy!

An old fashioned seaside scene, I can remember riding on some like this when I was younger and really not enjoying it much. Still, I do like to see them plodding up and down the sand - I just hope they are happier than they sometimes look!

These pears are inviting me to put them into a crumble, which makes me feel autumn is around the corner. Although I hate to see the summer come to an end, the warm mellow days of September are ones that I enjoy too.
